# Participant Photos

### What Are Participant Photos?

The Participant Photos action gives you a quick way to see any photos that have been uploaded and attached of the Participants linked to your Appointment or Shift. These can help with identification, familiarisation, or simply providing context during your visit.

### Viewing Photos

When you select **Participant Photos**, a photo viewer will open. This works like a carousel — you can swipe left or right to move between the available photos for all Participants that are part of the Appointment or Shift.

If a participant does not have a photo uploaded, the system will still display their name with a default Salesforce placeholder image in place of the photo.

{% hint style="info" %}
Photos are subject to privacy policies and the participant’s permission. Availability of photos may differ depending on how your organisation manages privacy and data.
{% endhint %}

### Using the View All Option

In the top right-hand corner, you’ll see a **View All** button. Tapping this will display all available photos in a grid format, making it easier to quickly scan through or select a specific participant photo.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledge.maica.com.au/maica-knowledge-base/mobile-worker-app/appointments-and-shifts-actions/participant-photos.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
