Now that the new Aged Care Bill has officially been passed by the Federal Parliament, we have an important announcement to make regarding Maica's support for the new Support at Home program.
For our existing customers using Maica to budget, claim and deliver services for Home Care Packages, or for organisations considering our product, we want to reassure you that we are hard at work on a suite of updates and features to ensure you will be ready and compliant with new Support At Home legislative requirements for service providers.
Our release (slated for Q1 2025) will include various updates and new features specifically designed to ensure you remain fully compliant with the new legislation and will include:
Ability to import and manage the new service list and capped prices by service, type and category
Quarterly budget calculations and forecasting
Automated billing of customer contributions for delivered services and Care Management fees
Support for Restorative Care Pathway, End of Life Care and Assistive Technology and Home Modifications Scheme funding types
Automatically migrate your customers from existing HCP Service Agreements to Support At Home Service Agreements and be ready for July 1st
