# Manage

{% hint style="warning" %}
This is an administrative feature. **Manage** is primarily intended for schedulers or administrators responsible for rostering and adjustments. Most care workers will not see this action in their mobile app.
{% endhint %}

#### What does the Manage Action include?

The **Manage** action opens a modal that allows you to update key details of an Appointment or Shift. This is the mobile version of the desktop **Manage Appointment** modal, designed for quick edits when you’re away from the office.

It functions the same way as the desktop version.

{% endhint %}

#### When you may use Manage on Mobile

The Manage action is particularly useful if you are away from your desk but need to:

* Reschedule an Appointment or Shift due to a change in availability.
* Reassign a Care Worker at short notice.
* Update location or service details after last-minute changes.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledge.maica.com.au/maica-knowledge-base/mobile-worker-app/appointments-and-shifts-actions/manage.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
