Planner Management

Learn about Planner Management within the Maica Client Care Solution

The Planner is a major component of the Maica Client Care solution, in fact, we would probably say, it's the largest and most important component of Maica Client Care. It is where the user can perform the vast majority of Client Care functions such as creating and managing Appointments.

To reflect the importance of this tool, we offer you a number of configuration options to make the Planner your own, including the ones listed here.

Setting ItemDescription

Text Format

Main Cell Colour

This determines the main colour of the cell in the Planner based on an attribute (or field) picked using the Field Selector.

Cell Indicator Colour

This determines the indicator (little dot in the top right hand corner) colour of the cell in the Planner based on an attribute (or field) picked using the Field Selector.

Shift Colour

This determines the main colour of a Shift cell in the Planner based on an attribute (or field) picked using the Field Selector.

Unavailability Colour

This determines the main colour of the an Unavailability cell in the Planner based on an attribute (or field) picked using the Field Selector.

Incomplete Appointment Colour

This determines the border colour of the cell in the Planner based on an attribute (or field) picked using the Field Selector.

Snap Size

The Snap Size determines by how many minutes the Appointment time moves when dragging in the Planner.

Available Views

This sets the views that are available to the end user when using the Planner, such as Appointment View and Participant View.

Timeline

The timeline determines the Start Time and End Time of the Planner, for example 9am - 5pm.

Block Unavailability

When a Resource marks a particular time as unavailable, the Planner can either simply show this but still allow the creation of Appointments during this time or actually block this from happening.

In the Resource View, it is possible to set the attribute or field that is shown below the name.

Tooltip Fields

This allows for the configuration of additional fields in the Tooltip shown when hovering over Appointments.

Appointment Cell Text Format

The Field Selector

The Field Selector is available in a number of spots within the Maica Client Care solution and allows you to pick from a list of attributes related to the object you are referencing, for example Contact. It further allows you to browse any lookups and navigate up to three levels, for example Contact -> Region -> Name.
